LMS co-hosts Community Appreciation Day with Liberty Resources in Tioga, ND.
This year’s Community Appreciation BBQ and Operations Tours hosted by Liberty Resources and Liberty Midstream Solutions was a huge success. Located on the McGinnity Pad in Tioga, ND, the event was a great opportunity for the local community to get together. Over 200 land and mineral owners attended and met staff from both Liberty Resources and Liberty Midstream Solutions including the CEO, CFO, and VPs from several departments including Land, Operations, and Business Development. Liberty’s Executives and employees enjoyed answering questions and getting to know everyone.
The event focused on strengthening ties with the local community. Tours were hosted every half hour with trips to well locations, salt water disposal wells, and the County Line Gas Plant. The tours were so popular that every bus departing was full! Feedback from local attendees included:
Positivity surrounding the reduction in road congestion (approx. 150 trucks per day reduction) due to the implementation of gas and water gathering lines to the County Line Gas Plant;
Improved wellhead footprint due to implementation of jet pumps;
Excitement about the event and community engagement,
Partnership with local utility company to improve reliability
In addition to spectacular weather everyone also enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by Famous Dave’s BBQ, great music, and games for the kids. The kids had so much fun in fact that one of them started a water balloon fight – we won’t mention any names (Jodi). Thank you to everyone for making it such a success!
